You only have an account if you signed in for the world high scores (with Google, or Apple on iPhone). Playing without signing in needs no account, and then we hold no data about you. Your De-Evolution account is shared with our other games that use the same sign-in, such as Candi's Swamp Hop.
How to ask for deletion
- To take your name and scores off the board yourself: open Settings > High scores in Mergy and tap Delete my high-score data (tap twice to confirm). It is gone straight away.
- To delete your sign-in account too, email contact@deevolutionstudios.com from the email address you signed in with (for Sign in with Apple’s “Hide My Email”, from the Apple ID that address forwards to), with the subject “Mergy: delete my account”. Say whether you want the whole account deleted (for every game that uses it) or only your Mergy information.
- We check that the request comes from the account’s address, delete what you asked for and confirm by email within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your display name, profile picture and Supporter ring on the high score board
- Your merge totals (all time and this week)
- For a whole-account deletion: your sign-in (email address and the Google or Apple sign-in link)
What is kept, and for how long
- Google Play (and later the App Store) keep their own record of anything you buy, under their own privacy policies.
- Ad data held by Google can be reset or deleted in your device’s Google or Apple settings.
Data on your device
Your merges, board and settings live only on your device: uninstalling Mergy deletes them.
Read the full Mergy privacy policy, or email contact@deevolutionstudios.com with any question.
